About Me
Jeff Inman brings precision, innovation, and a deep commitment to quality to his role as Engineering Manager at Optimum Crush. Since joining the company as an intern in 2020 and transitioning to full-time later that year, Jeff has grown into a key leader within the engineering team, specializing in reverse engineering, 3D modeling, and advanced design analysis for cone crusher components.
Jeff works extensively with three primary software platforms: Design X, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD. His day-to-day responsibilities involve scanning and modeling parts, analyzing assemblies, and ensuring new or upgraded components integrate seamlessly into existing crusher systems. Most recently, Jeff has focused on reverse engineering critical parts for Telsmith cone crushers, combining detailed 3D scans with precise physical measurements using micrometers, vernier calipers, telescoping gauges, and radius gauges to ensure exact accuracy.
For Jeff, the most rewarding part of the job is releasing a newly completed part, seeing the culmination of extensive technical work become a real, measurable improvement for Optimum Crush customers.
Outside of work, Jeff leads an active lifestyle with his wife, enjoying hiking and mountain biking on local trails such as Minooka and Kettle Moraine. He also hopes to travel abroad someday, with Europe at the top of his list.
