The OEM Main Frame Liner life did not meet the expectations of the mine. This was especially an issue in the Secondary Crushers where larger rock impact caused faster wear than in their Pebble Crushers.
A new style hanging design was developed to make the Main Frame Liners faster to change. Improved materials were used in the wear zone to place the higher cost, lower wear, materials in efficient locations.
Liner life increased by 400% and installation time reduced by 2-4 hours. This was all done in coordination with Mantle and Bowl Liner testing which created opportunity for the customer to test improved designs offered by Optimum Crush.
