OEM liner design was not allowing slabby material to be crushed thus hindering the overall throughput of the machine. Additionally the liners were not lasting as long as the mine had planned for.
Optimum Crush analyzed the current liner profiles and developed a custom Liner Set using knowledge of the entire machine. Focus was made to increase the life through efficiency of the design and improve the feed opening to allow for slabby material.
The new liners created a 71% increase in life and improved tonnage due to large, slabby, material was no longer bridging at the top of the crushing chamber.
