Mine wanted to change their plant-wide shutdown intervals but needed their liners to last longer to accomplish this.
Optimum Crush used their knowledge of the entire machine to develop a custom set of liners that would not only accomplish the increase in life but may also increase throughput. All of this was done by making the design more efficient, reducing the total weight of the liner set.
Liner life was increased by 39% which allowed the mine to convert their plant-wide shutdown schedule. There was also a 9.17% increase in throughput and 3.7% decrease in material costs per set.
